How important is lighting?
Lighting can be critical for the success of the event. The tents we
provide are of the highest quality made of sunblock material. Thus,
the inside of the tent can appear or become dark throughout the
progression of your event. We highly recommend some form of
lighting for most events unless it is being held during the day when
the sun is brightest and there are no sidewalls on the tent. We must
consider how our lighting will compliment other forms of light, such
as votives on the tables or Japanese lanterns hung from overhead.
What kind of lighting do you offer?
We have many choices to meet your lighting needs, depending upon
the nature of your unique event. For a casual party or wedding
reception we have a simple and economical clear strand of rope
lighting that provides consistent mood lighting throughout the tent.
Because the white fabric of the tent has a reflective surface we have
track lights and fixtures that take advantage of the glossy and
softening properties.
Up lighting from the floor helps to brighten any tent interior. Since
most events start during daylight hours but finish at night, we
recommend using light dimmers to adjust your light levels to fit the
specific changes that occur during your event.
